I have been in the educational field for over 15 years.7 years as a teacher - working in infant & toddler rooms as well as teaching 2 to 5 year olds. I am certified in First Aid, CPR and also certified in the Immunization Assistance Program. ![]() I am a certified Montessori Teacher, and I hold a Certificate in Early Childhood Education along with a BA in Early Childhood Education. For all of us, but more so our daughter, Danessa was another extension of our family, and I would 100% recommend all parents to consider this option. The care and attention the kids here get is all that we hoped for and brought us great peace of mind especially during the pandemic. I didn't understand or appreciate what an in-home daycare could bring until I tried ABC. When we moved away from Center City, we did a 1hr + round trip commute for a year just to take our daughter here. The space is clean, activities are interesting and engaging, and we get to follow along with pics throughout the day. ![]() She talked fairly early and was counting to 10, recognizing colors, saying ABCs, singing and much more in both English and Spanish at 1yo. With the mixed-age classroom, my daughter was ahead at almost everything. I laugh with my husband that it was she that chose Danessa because she absolutely hated the first more traditional day-care that we tried, but loved Danessa from day one! Danessa made the transition from home with mom/grandma to daycare such a natural one for my daughter. As a first time mom, it's hard to know what to look for in a daycare before actually sending your baby. ![]() I sent my daughter here from 5 months to 3 years and have not regretted it for a second.
